I am one Australian of seven Japanese people here – they are my in-laws. What can I say? I have never been so close to kookaburras, koalas and my favourite, the parrots. I am so impressed, you can only imagine the experience of my lucky in-laws. Big smiles all round. The six of us are from Okinawa, Japan. The house is really cute and I want to take it back to Japan. My daughter’s family will come this time next year and it would be great if we could come again to this Treetops Wye River accommodation. Seiko.

This is my last week of long service leave and staying at Treetops capped off my time away from work. Every comfort has been thought of. Caught up with some fantastic movies in your DVD collection and enjoyed your magazines. Hope to come back soon. Suzanne and Gerard.

We all agree this is the best family holiday we have ever had! Your attention to detail and sheer thoughtfulness is something special, as is Treetops. My eldest daughter counted five koalas, my middle daughter had five king parrots feeding on her arm. We can’t wait to come back to Treetops Wye River. Patrick and Beverly.

Treetops has the view of our dreams! We’ve been impressed with the comfort of the house and the thoughtful things provided. Jazz the dog had the time of her life. She didn’t have to fight for our attention – the cats were left at home – I think she is very sad to leave, as are we. Best Wye River accommodation! Thanks, Julie and Clinton

Treetops Wye River was the perfect accommodation for a family gathering with my parents who came from the UK. We had some wonderful time exploring and watching birds, we saw an echidna. We didn’t see George the koala but the kangaroo last night made up for that! Bradley family.

Thank you to sharing the beautiful house and allowing us to bring the dogs with us. The koala arrived on day three and walked past the dogs on the other side of the fence – they would too stunned to bark. It then established itself outside the laundry in a tree and slept for three days. Thanks again Chris and Irene.

Give me a home among the gum trees with parrots cockatoos and koalas in the tree, sitting on the deck with Kev and a stubby of VB. I had a lovely birthday at treetops Wye River. Barbara from Queensland.

Our first visit to Australia from the UK and we loved it. This place is fantastic. We’ve loved feeding the parrots and we spotted George, that he was too lazy to make a visit. We have some gorgeous photos to take home. Dave and Sheila, north-west England.

Treetops Wye River is an amazing piece of paradise. We didn’t have our two dogs with us but applaud you for making this a dog friendly accommodation – there should be more of it. You are such fortunate people to have this place and it’s great that people like us get to share it. After six months of chemotherapy it’s been great to do a Great Ocean Road trip and this place is definitely the highlight. Saw George, what are lazy boy. We had plenty of interaction with the birds. Loved the king parrots especially, they are so gentle. The house is just gorgeous, what we love, different and quirky, good artwork. Loved the whole experience. G and B, Perth.

Our third visit and everything was fantastic as usual. George koala paid a visit. He was trying to impress a young female, very interesting courtship noises. The birds are always fun. Such a perfect house to bring our puppies, we will be back soon. Mark and Vicki, Monty and Angel.
